In 1985 I decided to distance myself from actively exhibiting my photography. I had come to realize that I needed, exclusively for my own benefit, to become a better photographer.
After taking a 20 year hiatus, I am once again exhibiting. I believe my current work reflects the correctness of my original decision. In 1998 I destroyed all of my negatives from this earlier period and have never looked back nor regretted this decision. It has made me a better artist, which was ultimately my goal.
